What would your children say Christmas is all about if someone asked them? It’s so hard to prevent the commercialization of Christmas from confusing little minds away from Christ. What can make it even more challenging is when you feel the need to limit your traditions that focus on Christ while being with unbelieving family at Christmas. Get encouragement and insights in how to keep CHRIST the focus with your family regardless of who’s around you.. Merry Christmas everyone, let’s make much of Jesus to our families.

- Instead of feeling like a victim of circumstances at Christmas when your with extended family, shift your mindset to being on a mission field and seeing how your family can be an influence for the gospel.
- After Christmas have a marriage conversation about what went well and not so well on keeping Christ the focus.
- It’s important to be courageous and bold if you want to influence a new legacy, however we have to adjust our approach so it’s received.
- Being Courageous doesn’t mean you are abrupt and demanding about things, sometimes it’s simply asking a question that causes someone else to think about what they are doing. Or a gentle encouragement in a different direction. That takes courage!
- The goal is to both keep Christ the center of Christmas while also winning over your unbelieving family towards Christ too. To not lose your witness while also protecting your family. While it’s not always possible, it should always be the goal.
